#416. Ride the Train!
Travel back in time with a ride on the St. Croix Valley Railway! Treat your whole family, including 2 adults and four children, to a 90 minute round trip ride along the scenic St. Croix River Valley. Watch for turkeys, deer and bald eagles, and enjoy Bridal Veil and Buttermilk Falls and the many other brooks and streams along the way. While onboard, visit the postal clerk in the mail car to learn how mail was caught “on the fly” and be sure to visit the concession car where you can purchase a railroad trinket, soda or snack.
Certificate expires on September 15, 2010 and is not valid for special events.
About the donor: The Osceola & St. Croix Valley Railway is located in historic Osceola, Wisconsin, the railway provides a truly unique opportunity for kids of all ages to view the scenic St. Croix River Valley.
