The Parent Outreach Committee is responsible for coordinating welcome and orientation programs for new school
families; coordinating PTO communications to the broader school community
throughout the year; developing parent education programs; and organizing
school-wide, community-oriented events such as Tanz in den Mai.
Over the summer, we're working on a "Field Guide for New Parents" and a school-wide photo directory to help everyone put names to the many new faces that will be joining us in the fall. We're also planning some great new events and get-togethers for 2009-2010, including the first-ever TCGIS "Auflauf Cook-Off," a potluck/fundraiser that will feature competitive hot-dish fun for the entire community!
