Requests for General Funding |
|
The PTO will consider requests for funding from its general fund for school-related projects and supplies throughout the year, provided that the request meets our funding guidelines:

- The PTO allocates its funds to expenditures that align with the PTO’s mission and organizational goals. To be considered appropriate for PTO funding, a requested item or service must advance the PTO’s mission to foster the relationship between school, home, and community for the academic success of all of our students.
- The PTO’s Vice-President coordinates funding requests and works with the PTO’s Treasurer to ensure that all funding awards include appropriate documentation and oversight.
- The PTO gives preference to funding requests that will impact as many TCGIS students, families, and faculty as possible, with consideration given to those that provide a longer-term benefit.
- All requests for funding will be voted on by the membership at a properly convened meeting of the PTO.

To submit a request, complete a Funding Request form and give it to the PTO Vice President (currently Lisa Antony-Thomas).
