The TCGIS PTO is committed to supporting our teachers as they go about the critical work of educating our kids.
Among other things, our Classroom Support Committee works to recruit and orient Classroom Parents to help in each individual classroom. Click here to learn more.

Supporting Our School
The PTO undertakes fundraisers that draw people together, support local businesses, or bring some other added value to our school community.
This year, parents helped to support TCGIS by drinking fair-trade coffee,eating locally-made strudel, and planting a garden!

The PTO works to give our parents new ways to become involved in our school, and to build stronger connections within the TCGIS community.

Our Background:

Formed in the fall of 2008, the TCGIS PTO is a natural outgrowth of the longstanding tradition of parent involvement at our school. We formed to help streamline some of the many volunteer activities at TCGIS, to better coordinate fundraising efforts, and to provide new ways for parents to engage as our school grows from year to year. The PTO formally organized as a Minnesota nonprofit corporation in March 2009. |
